Black and White

Sometimes i think of how beautiful our babies would be..

but then i promptly come back to my senses.. This world is a scary place and that is a HUGE responsibility. But they would be beautiful..

The past week and a half have been insane. Fiscal year end and summer school payroll are hell.

And I found out my favorite aunt
Has breast cancer. The most agressive kind. They caught it early but she still may need chemotherapy. Breast cancer is what killed my granny. Her mother. =((((((.... I'm worried but strong enough to be supportive.


We had a good night last Friday at some friends house. Playing games and hanging out. It was great.

Today is extremely slow at work.

This stunning woman is my mother.. and the older I get the more I am told "You look just like your mother"
I find this flattering because I think my mother is beautiful She may think she's old and fat and wrinkly and not pretty at all.. but she's fooling herself. She has a beautiful smile, beautiful eyes, her lips are the best kisses a kid could want growing up.. and she's got freckles just like i always remembered.

and this is me with my mother making faces to look like we are hard core.. lol we are really intimidating i know.. this picture is a few years old.. ok here's a better one

I love this picture of me.. I look like my Granny in it. I miss her..

Why is it I seem to have made decisions when I was younger that totally screwed with my adult life. Ugh. Oh the things I would change if I could do it all again.

My family lives in nothern Mississippi. So I guess it's a bit crazy that me and my two sisters are married to black men. My honey ... He's a handsome fella.
